Maybe it's for the best that we moved away from California just as I was learning to drive

A few years ago the LA Weekly published a fascinating article on people who visit the Magic Kingdom a lot.

I've recently gotten into pin trading (which you know--we need to talk pins sometime soon). I'm not sure what kicked my switch, but there it is. I'm nowhere near the obsessive/compulsive type with regard to Disney. And I think that Trekkies have a vision that Disneyana enthusiasts will never understand. I have, however, met some of the people this article is about, people whose backyards house cars from retired rides, people whose homes are decorated almost purely by Disney.

My only thought about it all is, everyone has their thing. Myself, I have several things: smashed penny collecting, Disney pin collecting, you know, like that. I can't judge anyone.

Maybe we can pick a Vanguard we're both pretty sure we'll attend (we're hosting August...). I'm a little excited, because I just got my first trade accomplished through pinpics.com.

My big thing is books, but I might not turn down a piece of a retired ride in the back yard. Amy?...
